“The Base strives to be a resort that cultivates the art of mountain living. From sunrise to sunset, all guests will be charmed by a friendly and comforting atmosphere in the heart of an environment enhanced by the beauty of the setting.”- Antoine Choquette, Vice-President Real Estate Development, Groupe Le Massif.
One of Quebec’s best ski resorts continues to grow its slopeside accommodations. Le Massif announced last week that they will be constructing a slopeside apartment/hotel. Called Le Camp de Base – Secteur Grande Pointe, the $40 million project will be close to the Grande-Pointe lift, along with a few steps away from the gondola and the Club Med Québec Charlevoix.
The 118 rooms and suites will range from 409 to 678 square feet, with several units having a balcony. Some of the amenities at the property will include an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, a training room, a ski room, and a bicycle storage area.
Charles-Antoine Choquette, who is the Vice-President Real Estate Development for Groupe Le Massif, described the new development in the press release:
“This is a new lifestyle for future owners, while meeting the accommodation needs of the clientele. An attractive choice for short-term visits, Le Camp de base will give its guests the impression of staying at home while having access to quality hotel services. Situated at the bottom of the ski slopes, in front of the Grande-Pointe lift, a few steps from the gondola and Club Med Québec Charlevoix, the project provides a new lodging option in the heart of nature while complementing the current offer.”
The first units will go on sale this summer, with the first batch of rooms projected to open in the fall of 2025.
