Frightening situation at GETO KOGEN Ski Resort in Japan where an eight foot slap “roof-alanche” buried six tourists exiting a bus outside the gondola building. Some of the tourists resorted to hiding in the storage lockers under the bus to avoid getting buried. Thankfully everyone was dug out quickly and accounted for. Great reminder to be on your toes if you’re in an area with deep snowpack on roofs….never know when its gonna go.
