WATCH: Bluegrass Band Plays Free Concert In I-70 Traffic

Elk Range, a bluegrass band from Carbondale, CO decided to make the most out of big traffic jam on Colorado’s infamous stretch of I-70 through the mountains.

Rather than sit in their cars and wallow in frustration/anger over the closed highway, a dozen or so people got out to listen and dance in the snow.

Here’s more info about the video from 9News:

“Betty sent us this video of her band “Elk Range” getting out of the car and playing some music for the folks stuck on I-70 through Glenwood Canyon during a closure.”

Check it out:

I hate traffic (especially on I-70 west of Denver) as much as the next guy or gal, but I’d be willing to suffer through a few hours of standstill madness if it meant I could listen to a free concert.

Well, at least once or twice.
