1-Day Lift Ticket Costs More Than $300 At Arizona Ski Resort

Trail Maps - Arizona Snowbowl

Well folks, it finally happened- a ski resort sold one-day lift tickets for more than $300, something that industry insiders were dreadfully awaiting.

Multiple screenshots were submitted to us showing that Arizona Snowbowl listed walk-up lift tickets for $309 on Saturday, January 21st, 2023.

For context, Arizona Snowbowl uses ‘dynamic’ pricing for lift tickets that fluctuates based on demand.

The resort has seen 61 inches over the last eight days, so it’s safe to assume that this weekend was especially busy.

Do you think anybody actually paid over $300 for one lift ticket on Saturday?!

In comparison, folks who purchased their Indy Pass last fall paid less than $280 for two days of skiing at 120+ resorts across the world.

Here’s hoping that atrocious sticker price deterred folks from making the drive up from Phoenix. Over $300 for one day of skiing is ridiculous.

Pretty wild that a ticket cost over $300 on Saturday, but will only cost $55 on Thursday, and $169 next Saturday. Dynamic pricing is weird, man.

Hopefully we don’t see another $300+ lift ticket for a long time…

Would you pay over $300 for a day of skiing at any resort in the world?
