Crevasses can be an extremely dangerous, yet invisible, hazard when they’re covered with feet of snow.
Skiers, snowboarders, hikers, and snowmobilers can all victim to these unseen traps, and the result can be deadly.
Don’t worry, nobody is seriously injured in the video below, but it proves just how scary a snow covered crevasse can be.

This snowmobiler has to be feeling extremely fortunate that he didn’t fall into the crevasse himself.
That’s not even considering the fact that this snowmobiler gets rescued by a helicopter and he’s able to continue on his day of riding.
What a crazy day that must have been for him.
