Admittedly I’m not too hip to the world of competitive ski mountaineering but I had no idea sprint course involved carving actual staircases out of snow for athletes to run up with their skis strapped to their backs. Here’s some clips from the Würth Modyf World Cup in Val Thorens that have me huffing and puffing just watching. Interesting sport, I would love to see one of these top tier events live in person.
