New England Epic Pass holders have been pretty happy so far this season with their local Vail Resort properties, as they’ve had quick openings since a long snowmaking window began last week. Stowe, Okemo, and Mt. Snow are already open, and more Vail properties in New Hampshire will be joining the party.
Mount Sunapee will be Vail’s first property to open in New Hampshire, as they’ll start spinning the lifts on Wednesday (November 23) at 9 a.m. The runs that they’ll have open include Promenade, Bonanza, Westside, Toboggan Chute, and Lower Blast Off, which will be serviced by the Sunapee Express and Middle Carpet lifts. For the first people that show up, they’ll have some pastries, coffee, and hot cocoa.
It’s their earliest opening since the 2017-18 season, when they opened on November 22nd. Shortly after Sunapee’s announcement, Wildcat Mountain revealed that they’ll be opening on Thanksgiving. Shoutout to the Mount Sunapee team for getting some terrain open for Thanksgiving weekend!
Are you ready to join us for one of our earliest opening days in the past 10 years? Thanks to our amazing operations team and snowmakers, our team will be ready to spin the lifts for you this Wednesday, Nov 23! We couldn't be more excited to welcome you all back to #MountSunapee! pic.twitter.com/F24NL2kAWo
