Loveland Ski Area tipped their caps to neighbor Arapahoe Basin Ski Area as they took the crown as the first ski resort open in Colorado.
Loveland and Arapahoe Basin used to have some epic battles in the race to be first to open, but it seems like Loveland has pumped the brakes in recent years. With that being said, it doesn’t seem like Loveland is too far behind.
The ski area shared that they’re hopeful that “[opening day] will be later this week or next week.”
