As someone without a boatload of mountain biking experience, I can’t say I’m the best judge of mountain biking tutorial videos. I have done some cross-country and I’ve done some downhill, so I have attempted to successfully jump on a bike, and I can confidently say I’ve never felt comfortable in the air, despite watching a few tutorial videos here and there.
Now I’m a big fan of The Loam Ranger. I haven’t seen every single video he’s made, and I don’t watch his videos on a daily basis, but when I go to watch mountain biking videos, his channel often pops up, and I’ve never been disappointed. So, do I trust him to provide a tutorial on any thing mountain bike related? Absolutely. Do I think this video is well made and easy to understand? It’s seems hell of a lot better than a lot of other tutorials out there.
If you’re just getting into mountain biking and the scariest thing for you is the idea of hitting jumps, or if you have plenty of experience mountain biking but still struggle with catching air, there’s a good chance this video is for you. So check it out, memorize his tips, and get out there and enjoy a nice jump track like you’ve been doing it your entire life.
