Since the start of the pandemic, visitation to National Parks in the United States has skyrocketed. This has caused some of the most popular national parks in the country, like Arches in Moab, Utah, to overfill during peak periods. This past April, Arches began a permit reservation system, which has helped reduce crowds. CBS Sunday Morning traveled to Arches to meet with a park ranger to see how their timed-entry is doing so far, and how other national parks have added reservations as well.
