After a disappointing 2021-22 season, Attitash Mountain Resort is aiming to be more transparent with its guests. The New Hampshire mountain, which is owned by Vail Resorts, announced back in April that it would be updating its guests about various offseason projects through a video series on social media. So far, Attitash is making good on its promise by providing a construction update for the Progression Quad, which is replacing the East-West double chairlifts. The Doppelmayr fixed-grip quad will serve the beginner area on the mountain, along with connecting skiers and riders to Bear Peak. So far, the old lifts have been removed, and the footings of the new lift have been poured. Here’s to hoping Attitash keeps it up and doesn’t stumble back into old habits.
