Let’s be honest with each other, okay?
All Park Rangers are just a little bit crazy, right?
Now, don’t mistake that statement as a negative… I just simply mean that in order to work in a local, county, state, or national park one must have a certain level of obsession with the outdoors to look pass the bullshit that comes with the job.
Politicians are always cutting budgets, asshole tourists are constantly getting attacked by wildlife that they provoked, teenagers enjoy doing drugs and graffitiing within park grounds, and the pay isn’t all that great.
That’s exactly why I feel that Andy Samberg’s Parks and Recreation character Carl is the perfect overdramatic representation of every park ranger.
They have their quirks, but damn if we aren’t lucky to have them. 😆
