There are successful professional BMX riders. There are successful professional downhill mountain bike riders. There are probably even successful professional BMX AND downhill mountain bike riders. It’s unlikely, though, that many can compare to Jonna Johnsen, a Danish BMX, Downhill, and Enduro racer who overcame cancer.
An ambassador for Mondraker Bikes, Jonna was both the Danish and Scandinavian BMX world champion. She’s also competed in both the Enduro World Series and the UCI Downhill World Cup. In short, she’s a pretty darn impressive individual, and her story is even more so.
