As the 2021/2022 ski season comes to an end in the Finger Lakes region Greek Peak, the largest ski resort in central New York, has begun a $700,000 snow making upgrade and a new trail project.

In total, over 9,000 feet of new water pipe and 5,000 feet of new air line will be installed ahead of the new ski season. WENY NEWS reports the brand new snow-making lines will be installed on three trails.

In addition to major snow-making upgrades, a new family-style ski trail is being designed for the upcoming season which will bring Greek Peak’s ski trail total to fifty-six this coming season. President of Greek Peak Mountain Resort, Wes Kryger, had this to say about the scheduled improvements:
“Investments like these are significant and they’re part of what has made Greek Peak a regional skiing destination for so many years. Our focus continues to be on the mountain, the resort amenities, and the overall guest experience.”
