I can’t believe this is real. Is this real life?
Was the nation’s most famous reflecting pool actually infested with so much bird poop, algae, and OTHER TRASH (?!?) that it looked like dehydrated urine or is the simulation broken…?
From Fox 5 Washington DC:
“It’s quite a sight… and quite a smell,” the tweet read. The annual scrub removes algae, goose and duck droppings, and other trash that buildup in the pool throughout the year.
I’m kind of hoping it’s the former if I’m being 100% honest…
But, yes. This is 2022, and the internet is running rampant with enough ‘DRAIN THE SWAMP’ chants that I’m half expecting Donkey from Shrek to offer me a parfait or some sh*t…
