Enlightening video from Finnish traditional and horse archer Urgi who spends his time shooting and studying historical archery on foot, on horseback, and even on skis. Shooting while skiing was an essential asset for the ancient Finno-Ugric and North Asiatic arctic archers. Traditionally skiing was performed with only one ski stick, which leaves the other hand free for shooting arrows. Here he demonstrates three methods of tradition pursuing ski archery taking effective shots on the move at 30cm diameter disc as a target. Rad.
