Storm chasers have to be some of the most insane people in the world, but without them, we wouldn’t be able to see wild stuff like this. It’s hard to make out the truck in the beginning, but you can just barely see it being tossed over by the tornado. And, as I guess anyone would, the person behind the wheel just drives away…
This footage is from Elgin, Texas, where a tornado struck on Tuesday, March 22nd. Parts of Texas, Oklahoma, and much of the Deep South have been heavily damaged by storms.
Following the footage of the truck, Brian Emfinger’s video features drone shots of the tornado and other clips from his vehicle. Feel free to stick around to the end, but I will warn you that it’s some pretty intense footage.
