Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, Massachusetts is one of the best-run mountains on the East Coast. Being close to Boston, having fantastic customer service, elite snowmaking, and twice-daily grooming systems make it beloved by the Massachusetts crowd. One example of its greatness is following the ridiculous amount of rain that New England saw on Sunday and Monday. On social media, they displayed a snow depth report, which is still over 3.5 feet thanks to their strong snowmaking efforts. Although there was an additional rainstorm following this post, Wachusett claimed they’re still averaging 3.5 feet of snowpack after that event as well. I hope more ski resorts show neat charts like this in the future.
