Really cool story out of Colorado where Leadville legend Tom Szwedko has been working on an unbelievable ski streak for the past 42 years. The 74 year old retired computer programmer has skied at least one day a month since October 1979. That’s over 500 months spanning five decades. Not even a bout with prostate cancer could deter him from keeping up his streak:

“You can’t quit. I ended up with seven and a half weeks of radiation treatment five days a week. And my doctor said I should get chemotherapy so well. So I got several rounds of chemotherapy but that didn’t stop me.”
