Waterville Valley could be getting two lift replacements for next season. New England Ski Industry reports that the New Hampshire ski resort is planning to replace its Exhibition and World Cup T-Bars with a newer T-Bar. The new surface lift would service 30% more terrain than its predecessor and would access the racing terrain as well as their Exhibition Terrain Park.

A small amount of tree clearing would be done to create access to the Lower Sel’s Choice and Tommy’s World Cup trails. A new lift will not be put in place of the Exhibition T-Bar in order to reduce maintenance and expenses. The new lift will extend their network for night skiing, which just began off the Exhibition lift last season. You can view the proposal here.

More new lifts and terrain expansions are coming in the future, as their master development plan shows a new terrain pod that would connect the ski area with their town village.
