It’s been a rough start to the season for most ski areas on the east coast. Especially those in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.

Virginia’s largest ski resort, Wintergreen Resort, announced yesterday that they will close the ski resort until colder temps allow for snowmaking to resume. A simple glance at the resort’s webcams should tell you all you need to know about things are going at the moment.

Here’s to hoping mother nature will get her shit together so that Wintergreen can get the ball rolling again on this season. The weather forecast looks good early next week for some snowmaking.

Lets those guns blaze!
