Red Bull Campo is an absolutely wild race held in France.
The event pitted 150 non-professional riders against world mountain biking champions Loïc Bruni and Myriam Nicole. The riders are given a head start, and are chased down by the pros.
Bruni shared an awesome POV GoPro edit of him overtaking the other riders and blowing by the competition. This is all the proof you need that pro athletes are a cut above us regular schmos.
Makes me wonder how much of a head start I would need on a World Cup Downhill course to beat a pro in a head-to-head race… Probably like 1 whole minute and maybe I’d squeeze out the victory by the tips of my skis? 😂
