China got an early start to the ski season as a fall influx of snow laid down enough base to open Koktokay International Ski Resort located in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the in northwest of the country. Information is sparse on the resort but it reportedly covers 23 sqkm and has 28km of trails serviced by 3 lifts.
