Elk are in full-on rut season, and the GOAT of ski racing Lindsey Vonn was treated to a front-porch display yesterday morning. Her caption says it all:
lindseyvonn: “No alarm clock needed this morning! These elk calls are nuts but they’re incredibly beautiful.”
I can imagine that she’s right. Who needs an alarm on your phone or a rooster in the barn when you live in elk country? Those frisky males will surely start bugling as soon as the sun rises to get their freak on.
