Located right next to Killington Resort, Pico Mountain has been under the radar for most of its existence. Locals frankly prefer it to stay that way. It opened in 1937, making it one of the oldest ski resorts to still be around in Vermont. To celebrate their historic past, Pico has decided to revert to their throwback logo, which frankly looks amazing. It blends the perfect amount of nostalgia and is distinctly Vermont. The latest part of the rebranding process is replacing the old sign with the new one. Pico showed the progress and the completed product in its latest social media post below.
Pico’s standing next to The Beast of the East makes people forget that it’s one of the most underrated mountains in Vermont. With fifty-eight trails, seven lifts(two high-speed quads), 75% snowmaking coverage, 250″ of average annual snowfall, a new terrain park setup, a vintage base lodge, the fifth-highest ski mountain peak in Vermont, and 80% more of a vertical drop than other ski resorts in New England.
