At first glance you might think this bear filmed walking along the train tracks up in Banff National park was of the polar variety but Jon Stuart-Smith of Parks Canada assures us it is not. Its not an albino either, rather its an example of an ultra rare white grizzly bear whose distinctive coloring is a result of a recessive gene that’s rarely seen in the wild. What an incredible wildlife sighting:
