Joe Smith was descending the course at Red Bull Hardline at a blazing fast speed when he clipped his left pedal on a stump and spiraled out of control. The camera angle isn’t the best to capture the crash, but you can clearly see Smith slam his noggin and take a really big tumble on a steep part of the track.

I honestly wonder how crashes like this (or worse) don’t happen more often.

Anybody else a little concerned that they let him descend the course after he was clearly stumbling around after the crash? I’m no doctor, but I’ve watched enough dudes “get their bell rung” watching football to know concussion symptoms when I see them.
