Massive Cargo Planes Seen Flying Super Low Through Smugglers’ Notch

Lockheed C-130 Hercules - Wikipedia
C-130

A group of lift mechanics at Smugglers’ Notch Resort were treated to a show yesterday when two C-130s flew through Smugglers’ Notch at a remarkably low elevation.

Somebody in the comments section said that these C-130s are from the Connecticut Air National Guard 103rd Airlift Wing at the Bradley Air National Guard base… sweet.

Gotta wonder if these flyboys made a bet to see who could buzz Mt. Mansfield the closest. Just guys being dudes flying 76,000 lb planes between two mountains is the ultimate macho man contest.
