Reddit user u/iammayoboy shows us that the melting snowfields of Mt. Adams, WA still have plenty of goodies if you’re willing to work for it.

Mt. Adams is a 12,280′ stratovolcano located just north of the border between Washington state and Oregon.

Mt. Adams hasn’t erupted in 1000 years, but is not considered to be extinct.

It’s the second tallest mountain in Washington behind Mt. Rainier.

Skiing on potentially active volcanos… it’s just a PNW thing.
