“He had a gift, a natural ability to fly. No wonder his teammates called him Harry Potter.”

All you Harry Potter fans out there probably didn’t realize that back in 2002 The Boy Who Lived traded in his Nimbus 2000 for a pair skis and won gold in ski jumping at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake.  He was deep undercover as a Swiss muggle known as Simon Ammann (no polyjuice though as its a banned substance according to Olympic bylaws) but one look at him gliding effortlessly through the air and you’ll instantly recognize his true identity.

“Simon” went on to be one of the most successful athletes in the history of the sport winning all four Olympic ski jumps on North American soil this century and is the only ski jumper to have achieved the gold double–double at the Winter Olympics.  Dude is a wizard
