American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) teamed up with Tincup Whiskey and Weston Backcountry to create an online quiz for skiers and snowboarder to test their avalanche knowledge before venturing into the backcountry. The multiple choice questions cover everything from field observations to rescue protocols. Everyone who completes the avalanche safety quiz before April 15th can enter to win limited edition backcountry skis or a splitboard and $1000 worth of AIARE certified courses.
