VIDEO: Powerful Avalanche Sweeps Past Himalayan Basecamp

“Avalanche right past basecamp near Jangskar, which lies in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The administrative center is Padum. The avalanche was a little more than a half mile (1km) from basecamp. Jangskar, together with the neighboring region of Ladakh, was briefly a part of the kingdom of Guge in Western Tibet.”
