While many of the metropolitan centers across the US are in a desperate battle to remove snow, Oslo, Norway is doing just the opposite. In a country where nordic skiing is a way of life, pandemic travel restrictions have left many urbanites yearning for an opportunity to put on their cross country gear and get some fresh air. To encourage Norwegians to get outdoor exercise while limiting travel, authorities are blowing snow and then trucking it into the city to make ski trails. Got to love a city that brings in snow rather than removing to keep the population happy.
