We reported yesterday that an outbreak of COVID-19 was connected to employee housing at Winter Park Resort, CO.
We now know that there are 109 active cases that began in shared employee housing on 1/23/21.
“An outbreak is defined as two or more confirmed positive cases at any facility, non-household group or organization within a 14-day period that were shown to have spread though interactions at that place.”
Health officials have declared the cluster of cases an ‘outbreak’ so that Winter Park, and Grand County, can benefit from increased testing provided by the state of Colorado.
No cases of COVID-19 were reported outside of the effected staff members.
