Mt. Norquay Banff, Canada officially kicked off the 2020/21 Canadian ski season this weekend. The ski hill opened on Saturday, October 24th – the earliest opening in the ski resorts 95-year history.

Early snowfall allowed the ski hill to open just days after closing its summer season with a base depth of 52cm (20 inches).
