A lightning strike in Morgan City, Louisiana was caught on a doorbell camera on Friday around 7:45 p.m. The strike hits a tree that explodes into splinters.
Sarah Ribardi stepped outside of her Cypress Gardens Subdivision home on Onstead Street in Morgan City when lightning struck a tree. In the video Ribardi ducks as wood and debris fly through the air. The strike damaged several homes and vehicles.
Thankfully no one was reported injured.
