Arapahoe Basin has announced that they are renaming the Pallavicini Lift following the installation of the new fixed-grip double this summer. The lift will now be called “Timber Lift” based on the run “Timber Glades”.
The Pallavicini Lift is consistently rated as one of the most iconic lifts in North America. I’m wondering how the locals will respond to renaming of such a staple at A-Basin. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I’m also wondering how many people will read this entire post and realize this is just an April Fool’s joke… Got ya!
