The footage is a bit grainy but you can clearly make out the pair of snowmobilers who triggered this ridge-long slide near Leadville. Thankfully bystanders never lost track of the partially buried victim and were able to dig him out without injury:
“Snowmobilers triggered an avalanche while riding up a slope near Leadville. One snowmobiler was caught and almost fully buried. Skiers in a different party, and the other snowmobilers, were able to see the top of the helmet of the snowmobiler sticking out of the snow. They went to the snowmobiler and rescued him. The snowmobiler did not sustain any major injuries.”
