Paul Pierce, NBA legend and Basketball Hall of Famer, went skiing for the first time a couple of years ago at Aspen Buttermilk, and the clips are still funny to this day.
I love that the big 6’7″ man got out there and tried something new, and I hope he’s kept up with skiing since these video were captured back in 2019.
His fear/joy of that run made my day. Never too late for a run as a ski-racer, but he has a lot of work to-do based on that clip. I still can’t get over him rocking 150cm skis, but I guess you gotta start somewhere!
