“Just after 5:30 AM, we received our first report where a vehicle was stolen while it was left running unattended (a puffer). The cold is miserable, but so is having your car stolen. Don’t be a puffer.”
If you’re Denver resident who likes your vehicle nice and toasty preheated before you get on the road be warned. It’s not only something that thieves look out for, its also illegal. Denver cops call idling your car unattended “being a puffer” and reported 5 such puffers had been stolen by the end of Wednesday morning’s frosty rushour. I wonder if its a moving violation?
