Hello reader. This is a warning that I’m about to go the %@#$! off.

I’m young, okay? I’m only 23. I have a lot of my skiing years ahead of me. I’d prefer if there’s ample snow for those years and the years following. BUT, and that’s a big BUT, we have delusional asshats in our government who are simply denying that climate change is even occurring. That’s like me just deciding I don’t want to believe that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Like, what?! How many scientists have to complete studies before they believe what’s happening? WAKE UPPPPPPPPPPP.

“But Matt, it snowed soooooooo much last season.” Yeah… so? This is climate CHANGE, bro. The climate is dramatically CHANGING, and fast. I mean just look at this picture of Greenland below.

I’d love to hear an explanation from a Climate Change denier about that one. Also, how many god damn ice bergs the size of Manhattan have to fall into the sea for these people to think, “Hmmm… maybe this shouldn’t be happening.” I’m willing to guess that an ice berg the size of California could break off and people would still say, “Well you know, the Earth’s temperature rises and falls, it’s happened before.”  Yeah, no shit Karen. But it’s never happened at this rate.

You know what? I’m honestly just scared. Sure, skiing is the most important thing in my life (sorry family, and girlfriend), but imagine wide-scale climate change that effects every day life. We needed to act probably 25 years ago, but that ship has sailed. What we can do, right now, is challenge our elected officials to make a change. We can also elect officials who will put the Earth first. Let’s start before Ohio has shoreline property, and I break my key board from writing this post.
