The Boggy Creek T-bar at Mt Buller in Australia took its first skiers to the top of the hill all the way back in 1967 and after 52 years of loyal service, it was finally retired in a ceremony befitting of its career.

Mt Buller ski patrol formed a guard of honour with their skis for the final ride which was made by two legendary patrollers, Brian Singer and Donny Morgan. Don and Brian took the final trip up the line sharing a quiet beer in the falling snow.

Only someone with true affinity for their local chairlift will understand the importance of that final beer. Cheers to The Boggy Creek. Enjoy your retirement!
