In the early 1990’s Jason Lee created the first mountainboards out of his garage with a buddy. The sport has since gone global with participants in no less than 30 countries. Lee went through tons of R&D trying to come up with the perfect hybrid between between snowboarding, skateboarding and mountain biking with the goal of the feeling of snowboarding on land.
