“This area is only accessible with mountain guides and everybody shown in the video had been previously instructed to immediately leave the beach if a calving occurs. Due to the sheer size and proximity it was a bit of a close call but everybody was safe and stayed dry.”

Gnarly footage from yesterday out of Jökulsárlón lagoon in Iceland where part of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier broke off sending tourists running for the hills. Good thing they were all warned what to do in the event of a calving and no one was swept into the icy waters:
