Colorado has had one hell of a ski season. The states snowpack is well above average for this time of the year, but a very unstable snowpack has led to massive avalanches the like of which has never been seen before.

With these factors in mind we take a look at the projected closing dates for Colorado’s ski resorts.

Closing March 31, 2019

  • Powderhorn, Granby Ranch, Hesperus

Closing April 7, 2019 

  • Buttermilk, Ski Cooper, Sunlight, Telluride, Crested Butte, Keystone, Purgatory, Wolf Creek

Closing April 14, 2019 

  • Aspen Highlands (open on weekends until the 28th), Buttermilk, Beaver Creek, Echo Mountain, Silverton, Steamboat

Closing April 21, 2019

  • Aspen Mountain, Copper Mountain, Eldora, Monarch, Snowmass, Vail

Closing May, 5, 2019

  • Loveland, Winter Park

Closing May 27, 2019

  • Breckenridge

Closing June 2, 2019

  • Arapahoe Basin
