Aspen Ski Co Sues Local T-Shirt Shops, Says Logo Is Being Misused

Aspen Skiing Co is suing a local retailer whom owns mutltiple t-shirt shops, claiming that their ‘Aspen Snowmass’ logo is being altered and misused in order to sell unofficial merchandise.

BusinessDen is reporting that O’Bos Enterprises LLC, the owner of Snowmass T-Shirt Company as well as 4 others in the area, is the subject of the lawsuit.

Back in 2006, The company used to have the right to sell official Aspen Snowmass merchandise but that agreement ended in 2007. Resort officials noticed that since the culmination of the agreement, O’Bos Enterprises continued to sell t-shirts with a copy-cat logo that Aspen Skiing Co claims infringes on their brand. The case is being hear via the US District Court in Denver.
