Believe it or not there’s a German dude in Namibia who’s been running dune skiing tours for the past 15 years. Henrik May’s company Ski Namibia offers guided trips for downhillers, cross country and even tele skiers. The dunes top out at close to 400ft so its kind of like mid-west skiing in coastal Africa.
