The French ski area, Val d’Isère,  has reopened for skiing and riding.

The resort had closed on May 1st, but for the first time in the resort’s 82-years they reopened  winter terrain.  The resort was able to spin lifts and reopen this terrain thanks to exceptional conditions

“The winter skiing on Bellevarde will remain open for two weeks, while snow-clearance teams continue to battle their way up to the Pissaillas Glacier where summer skiing will continue at 3,000 metres until 13 July 2018, weather conditions permitting.” – inthesnow.com

The Bellevarde slopes close at noon each day. Lift passes cost from €28 pp per day or €330 pp for the summer season.
