The austral winter is almost underway and two New Zealand ski areas are set to kick off the 2018 ski season this weekend.
Coronet Peak and Cardona will both open this Saturday and unless Mt Taranaki’s Manganui Ski Area opens on Friday, they’ll be the first two ski areas to open their doors in the Southern Hemisphere. Next week on the other hand, a slew of ski fields will open their doors to the skiing and riding public.
LET IT SNOW!
