Atmospheric River Events are being credited more and more with making or breaking ski seasons out west. These events can bring feet of snow to costal mountains from California and BC.
Scripps Institution of Oceanography Center for Western Weather and Water Extremes tracks atmospheric river storms. They found that 44 events made landfall along the West Coast. This was down from the record-breaking 68 in the water year 2017. Here is a look back at the AR events from 2017 -2018
